The town contains only the northern part of the Village of Medina, as the village's southern part is in the neighboring Town of Shelby. Glenwood Lake, a small lake shared with the Village of Medina, and small hamlets including Jeddo and North Ridgeway are the town's notable features. Ridgeway itself has essentially no independent downtown or commercial corridor, as almost all of the commercial activity commonly associated with Medina sits within Medina's own incorporated boundary rather than in the surrounding township.
